Favorable weather for lychee trees to bloom

Lychee trees in Thanh Ha District are experiencing later blooming this year, though current cold weather favors flowering. White egg lychee tea, a rare variety, is blooming but occupies limited area. Low rates of winter bud production have been observed.
Authorities have urged cooperatives and farmers to monitor weather and pests, implement irrigation during dry conditions, and enhance blooming. To boost lychee value, farmers are encouraged to adopt VietGAP and GlobalGAP practices, aiming for over 35,000 tons of output in 2025.
