Kaohsiung’s Agriculture Bureau is expanding fruit exports to Canada, generating over NT$10 million through tastings, education, and supermarket promotions. The bureau partnered with Canadian retailers to promote guava, jujube, dragon fruit, canned taro, and organic jams. These events, including red heart and pearl guava tastings, aim to raise consumer awareness and boost purchases. Given the success, annual campaigns are under consideration to increase market share.
