Thailand advocates for market access improvement with Korea visit

February 06, 2026 | Fruit Net |

Thailand is working to expand agricultural exports through discussions with South Korea on market access and trade conditions. Thai officials requested approval to export pomelo, longan, and green papaya, while Korea sought access for paprika exports to Thailand.

The talks reflect ongoing efforts to reduce trade barriers, improve export efficiency, and strengthen bilateral agricultural trade between the two countries.
