Dragon fruit exports have shown strong recovery in the early months of the year, reaching about US$108.5 million, driven by rising demand from Thailand and the Middle East, while China’s market stabilizes.
Seasonal factors, including Lunar New Year demand and limited global supply, supported this growth. Farmers have used artificial lighting to produce off-season fruit and meet market needs.
Thailand and the UAE recorded significant import increases, highlighting expanding market opportunities. However, long-term growth will depend on improving quality and diversifying export markets.
