Guava puree market set to nearly double by 2036

The global guava puree market is projected to grow from US$547 million to nearly US$952 million by 2036, driven by rising demand for natural, clean-label ingredients. Beverages dominate the market, accounting for over half of total usage, as guava provides both natural color and flavor without additives. Baby food and functional products are also expanding segments.

Concentrated puree is the most widely traded form due to its longer shelf life and lower transport costs. China and India are leading growth markets, supported by increasing consumption and production capacity, while Europe shows strong demand for organic and low-sugar products.

However, the industry faces challenges from weather-related supply fluctuations, rising packaging and storage costs, and strict import regulations. Companies investing in cold-chain systems, traceability, and sustainable processing are expected to gain a competitive advantage.
