India's Mango Exports Surge to USD 47.98 Million in Fiscal Year 2023-24

India has witnessed a significant increase in mango exports during the first five months of the fiscal year 2023-24, reaching a total value of USD 47.98 million, marking a 19 percent growth compared to the previous fiscal year. The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) collaborated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in this effort. Notably, India's mango exports to the United States increased by 19 percent, with 2,043.60 metric tons exported in the first five months of the fiscal year. India also expanded its mango exports to other countries, including Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. APEDA organized various initiatives, such as mango promotion programs, festivals, and tasting events, to boost mango exports and showcase different varieties in international markets.
