dVida Co. announces year-round availability for its mango and dragon fruit programs, catering to the demand for tropicals in the U.S. market. The company relies on reliable partners in Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and Brazil to ensure consistent supply. Dragon fruit, known as "pitaya" or "strawberry pear," is available year-round, with a thriving growing season in Palora, Ecuador. The climate and farming expertise in the region contribute to the production of sought-after yellow dragon fruit. The red dragon fruit, equally available year-round, comes from Ecuador's coastal regions. dVida also imports various mango varieties from Central and South America and Mexico, meeting the demand for popular types like haden, keitt, kent, and tommy atkins in the U.S. market. The company will showcase its product lines at the New York Produce Show in December.
