Vietnam 13th largest mango supplier for US

Vietnam emerged as the 13th largest mango supplier to the US in 2023, with an average import price of $3,190 per tonne, marking a 26% increase. The US primarily imported frozen and fresh mangoes from Vietnam, with frozen mango imports reaching 643 tonnes valued at $988,000, and fresh mango imports totaling 500 tonnes worth $1.4 million. Despite the growth, Vietnamese mango imports represent a small fraction of total US mango imports. According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the US imported 746,400 tonnes of mangoes valued at $1.11 billion last year, with Mexico being the largest supplier, followed by Peru, Brazil, and Ecuador.
