Thai mango exports more than double in first three months

Thailand's fresh mango exports surged 130% in Q1 to 1.6 billion baht, while sticky rice exports rose 13% to 1 billion baht. The increased popularity of Thai mango sticky rice, ranked second best rice pudding globally by TasteAtlast, has boosted demand. Thailand leverages FTAs with ASEAN, China, Japan, and other countries to enhance export opportunities. Thailand is the fifth largest mango exporter and the second largest sticky rice exporter. Many countries, including Australia and Hong Kong, impose no import tax on Thai mango and sticky rice, while others like South Korea and China have varying rates.
