The Carbon Reduction Potential Evaluation (C aRPE) Tool helps estimate greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation on U.S. agricultural lands by analyzing the impact of conservation practices. It uses emission reduction data from the COMET-Planner tool and agricultural acreages from the USDA Census of Agriculture. Users can visualize and quantify GHG reduction potential at different levels of conservation practice adoption, from local to national scales. The tool provides estimates that support conservation planning and implementation. Funding for the project comes from organizations like The Nature Conservancy and American Farmland Trust.
