The Ecological Society of Japan 2025 Annual Meeting will be held from 15 to 18 May 2025 in Sapporo, Japan. This hybrid event will bring together ecologists, researchers and practitioners to discuss the latest developments in ecological science. Topics will include biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, climate change and ecological restoration. Two themes "Acoustic Ecology" and "Deer-induced Problems" have been selected for the Open Sessions, and the ER Symposia will present "Species responses to climate change in terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems". The event will provide opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange and collaboration across disciplines. Registration is now open and participants can attend in person or online.
