Sustainable Food System Innovation Platform (SFS Innovation Platform) is a free, open-access online hub developed through the collaboration of Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects, including SMARTCHAIN, CO‑FRESH, FAIRCHAIN, EU4ADVICE, COREnet, WATSON, and WASTELESS. Launched in 2022, the platform preserves and promotes project outcomes by curating six key inventories—case studies, initiatives, innovations, practice abstracts, publications, and web links—along with e-learning resources and community networking tools. Designed for a wide range of users—including consumers, farmers and cooperatives, industry and retailers, policymakers, and technology providers—the platform supports sustainable food systems, short value chains, and transparency-enhancing innovations. While all users can access content, registered users may also upload materials, rate, and comment on entries.By consolidating multi-actor innovations and fostering peer learning, the SFS Innovation Platform provides a robust framework for long-term knowledge mobilization in climate-smart agrifood systems.
