2026 Agronomy Australia Conference

This regional conference themed “Agronomy for a Diverse Future”, will address agronomy innovations supporting climate resilience, diversified farming systems (including mixed farming and agroforestry), and sustainable intensification. Topics include soil health restoration, crop–livestock integration, climate-adapted varieties, and nature-based solutions for dryland systems. Subthemes highlight the role of Indigenous land management and traditional ecological knowledge in shaping modern agronomy,. In addition to technical sessions, the program includes Regional Field Trips to showcase local innovation and regional expertise, including visits to research stations and a climate-smart commercial farm.
