The 22^nd RUFORUM AGM will bring together African universities, governments, development partners, private sectors, students, innovators, and farmer organizations to examine how higher agricultural education, innovation, and research can be translated into action for Africa’s agricultural transformation. Hosted by the Government of Zambia and RUFORUM member universities, the AGM focuses on human capital development, resilient and productive economies, university–partner collaboration, and capacity sharing for the next generation. The programme is particularly relevant to climate-smart agriculture, digital transitions, AI and robotics in agriculture, evidence-based investment, agrifood-system resilience, and youth-centered innovation. Scientific sessions will be conducted in a blended format with oral and poster presentations. The registration has started and abstract submissions close on July 15, 2026.
