Sources of information 12 August 2026 | CNA |
Taiwan and Thailand are accelerating AI use in agriculture. Recent bilateral exchanges focused on AI, digital twins, GIS, satellite remote sensing, and image recognition, exploring how satellite, drone, and ground-level data can improve farmland monitoring, crop surveys, and early detection of abnormalities. Building on more than 20 years of agricultural cooperation, the two sides will seek pilot sites to test AI, big data, IoT, and geospatial technologies, moving their smart agriculture partnership from knowledge exchange toward practical applications while addressing climate change, food security, and agricultural labor shortages.
