The Australian Government has allocated $2.8 million to Agricultural Innovation Australia (AIA) to develop investment strategies aligned with the innovation priorities. Digital Agriculture Strategy: The Digital Foundations for Agriculture Strategy, released in April 2022, sets out a national approach to enhance digital adoption across agriculture, forestry, and fisheries industries. Key focus areas include leadership, skills development, data governance, value proposition, and connectivity infrastructure. Furthermore, the expansion of the Australian Farm Data Code aims to provide transparency and regulation in data management, benefiting both farmers and service providers.
International Collaboration: The growAG platform facilitates international collaboration and showcases Australian agricultural innovations to attract global investment. With a $2 million government contribution, growAG accelerates commercialization and fosters collaboration on a global scale.
