The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the State Government of Telangana, India have introduced Data in Climate Resilient Agriculture (DiCRA) to the Digital Public Goods Registry. Driven by Artificial Intelligence, DiCRA aims to enhance climate-resilient food systems and food security. Leveraging remote sensing and pattern detection algorithms, it identifies farms resilient to climate change and those highly vulnerable. By employing open-source technologies, DiCRA facilitates climate resilience analysis based on empirical inputs from data scientists and citizen scientists. Recognized as a digital public good, DiCRA joins over 100 solutions contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals through privacy-respecting practices.
