It offers original policy documents along with brief descriptions of policy objectives and more detailed information. The database serves various stakeholders, including governments, development partners, civil society organizations, researchers, and the private sector, aiding in identifying policy trends and informing discussions at national, regional, and global levels, especially regarding food security and nutrition. The database is maintained by the FAPDA team, which collects, validates, classifies, and uploads policies from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Policies are categorized into frameworks and decisions, covering areas like socio-economic development, agriculture, social protection, and gender, with each policy properly verified and documented.
