For achieving net zero agriculture by 2040, the Agri-Food Department holds an agricultural machinery exhibit (Taiwan)

The Agriculture and Food Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) organized an exhibit on "Agricultural Machinery for Carbon Sequestration and Emission Reduction" at Mingdao University's organic farm. The exhibition showcased 11 new agricultural machines offering multiple benefits of labor saving, water saving, and emission reduction, including laser automatic levelers, no-till vacuum seeders, and weeders for paddy rice field, etc. MOA also explained the 2024 subsidy program for adopting machines with carbon sequestration or emission reduction benefits.
