The 8th Asia-Pacific Conference on Unsaturated Soils will be hosted by RMIT and Monash University. Building on the success of previous conferences since Singapore in 2000, this event will continue to explore both theoretical and practical aspects of unsaturated soil mechanics. The conference will address regional issues such as heave, desiccation shrinkage, and slope instability, while also examining emerging challenges related to soil/atmosphere interaction, thermal and chemical effects, and climate change. The 8th AP-UNSAT promises a valuable platform for sharing the latest developments and fostering international collaboration in the field.
