The British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) 2024 Annual Conference will focus on the theme of “Sustainable Soils for People and Planet.” Hosted at Glamorgan County Cricket Club, this interdisciplinary event will cover advances in soil science across various sectors, including agriculture and the natural environment. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are invited on five key topics: Soil Health, Soils for Net Zero, Nutrient and Water Management, Technology and Innovation, and Soil, Social Sciences, and Culture. Coinciding with World Soil Day, the conference will address soil’s critical role in ecosystem health, climate adaptation, and biodiversity.
